Kiev, July 10: Due to Ukraine Crisis, EU and US posed a sanction on Russia in2014. This anti-Russia sanction degraded the US-Russia relation since then. Though after Trump Putin meet it was expected that the relation may advance but US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has clearly stated that sanctions on Russia will remain in place until the conflict in Eastern Ukraine is settled.

"It is necessary for Russia to take the first steps to de-escalate the situation in the east part of Ukraine. The US and EU sanctions on Russia will remain in place until Moscow reverses the actions that triggered these particular sanctions," Tillerson said at a briefing after a meeting with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Kiev.

The US-EU alley claims that Russia has a role in the internal crisis of US. Russia has constantly denied the claim and termed the move as counterproductive. As Russia thinks, it could harm the region. Since last 3 years, the sanctions have been prolonged against Russia.

It was expected that during Putin Trump meet, Putin would concentrate on the lifting of economic sanction. But US President Donald Trump has clearly rejected such assumption by saying that sanctions were not discussed in the meeting. Nothing will be done until the Ukrainian & Syrian problems are solved.
