TMC leaders putting great effort to avoid CBI interrogation of Narada case

Kolkata, July 14: The six-year rule of Mamata Banerjee has failed to give anything to Bengal but different scams. The Narad scam where a video sting caught TMC leaders red-handed accepting bribes made great controversies. CBI charged filed against TMC leaders involved in Scam. Now CBI ordered Subrata Mukhopadhyay and Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar to appear before CBI court on Thursday. But the TMC leaders are not appearing before CBI Court currently with using the coming party gathering as the reason.

The investigation of Narad case got accelerated in last 2 weeks. TMC leader Sultan Ahmed was also questioned by CBI. After that CBI sent notice to Panchayet Minister Subrata Mukhopadhyay’s residence. But he denied appearing as according to him, party activities were pre-scheduled. He could appear if a date after 21st July was scheduled.

Another leader Kakoli Ghosh Dasitader commented, “ I have received an e-mail from CBI. They have asked me to meet. But I won’t comment anything on it. My lawyers and party will speak on behalf of me.”

All the leaders are trying to avoid CBI. This has raised question among oppositions that if they are not guilty why they are avoiding investigation process.

According to CPIM leader, Surjya Kanta MishraSome of them is getting admission in Hospital. Others are denying appearing before CBI. This is an ongoing TV serial in the name of Sarada, Narad investigation.

“They (TMC leaders) are always scared. They keep asking if any letter has been sent .”, BJP leader Dilip Gosh said.

Even leaders like Sultan and Iqbal Ahmed denied giving their voice footage to  CBI. Now CBI is planning to collect the footage from Doordarshan news.
