New York, July 17: The Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, while concluding the IIFA 2017, gave his take on award shows. He said that although he doesn't believe in awards, he believes it's good as it motivates people to work harder.
"If you perform only keeping awards in mind, then it's not good, you get corrupted. You should celebrate awards and then get back to your aukat and start working harder," Nawazuddin Siddiqui said while talking to reporters.
The 43-year-old actor said “The kind of work that I’m doing in Bollywood is satisfying and if I get bored, then I will definetly think about Hollywood. But right now, I’m satisfied.”
The IIFA celebrates the achievements of Bollywood in different cities across the world, and this year it is held at the iconic MetLife Stadium in New York.
Besides Bollywood celebrities, several Hollywood stars have also been part of IIFA, including Angelina Jolie, action star Jackie Chan, Australian pop-star Kylie Minogue, British actor Colin Firth, Hollywood stars Hillary Swank, Kevin Spacey and John Travolta.
