Bhopal, July 23: Madhya Pradesh’s Shivraj government is going to take another commendable step to promote quality education in state. BJP government announces to bear higher education fees of students with over 75 percent marks in Higher Secondary Examination.
Madhya Pradesh education department said that the benefit of ‘Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana’ will be availed by students securing 75 per cent or more in 12th Board examinations conducted by M.P Board of Secondary Education.
“Students securing 85 percent or more in 12th Board examinations conducted by CBSE and ICSE has also eligible for availing scheme. The income of the student’s parents should be less than Rs 6 lakhs. The student’s aadhar number is also must”, statement said.
Students obtaining up to 50,000 rank in the Engineering-J.E.E Mains Examinations would also be given assistance for admission. Benefit of the Yojana can be availed on taking admission for M.B.B.S. in any college. State government will bear the entire fees of Government Medical College and charges of private college, statement further added.
The entire fees of the course undertaken in any National Law University after Class 12th through Law-CLAT will be borne by the government. As well as Entire fees of all courses of B.Sc, B.A, B.Com. Nursing, Polytechnic and graduation level of all state government colleges will be borne by the government. The entire fees of students from government institutes will be given in the institute’s account. In private institutes, the fees will be deposited in the students’ accounts.
Meanwhile, So far 18 thousand 404 registrations have been made in Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana. The process of getting the students’ fee amount approved is being undertaken by the Technical Education Department currently. The scheme will be implemented through portal www.scholarshipportal.mp.nic.in.
