Haryana CM inaugurates much awaited Hero Honda Chowk flyover with hope of less traffic in Gurgaon

Gurgaon, July 24: Hero Honda Chowk in Gurgaon along the Delhi-Jaipur Highway plays an important role in City Traffic. The usual heavy traffic on the busy Hero Honda Chowk to be reduced as Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar the newly constructed 8 on-lane Hero Honda Chowk flyover. The travel between Jaipur and Delhi is now expected to be hassle free for travelers. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), which had assigned the project, confirmed the opening of the flyover.

Heavy traffic is a real issue for any city. Residents really feel distressed for the traffic in Gurgaon. Traffic on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway (NH-8) has been a major challenge for the Gurgaon administration. This project was started aiming a smooth traffic in the city. Now the flyover will bring relief from regular traffic snarls.

Back in 2014, the flyover construction started. During the construction, traffic on the roads became more hectic. It obstructed the flow of rainwater into the Badshahpur drain which leads to waterlogging and more traffic.

Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways and Shipping, Nitin Gadkari said that the flyover shall help ease out traffic on Delhi-Gurugram stretch of NH-8 /2.
