Tamannaah gets honorary doctorate for her contribution to South Indian films industry

Ahmedabad, July 25: Actress Tamannaah Bhatia was awarded an honorary doctorate by Confederation of International Accreditation Commission, an International non-governmental, private self-financed quality assurance body for her contribution to the South Indian film industry.

The actress was widely appreciated for the role of Avanthika in the magnum opus Baahubali series. The Dhivara song of Tamannaah had created a lot of Buzz after the grand release of Baahubali: The Beginning and also recognized by international media.

Expressing her happiness on her Facebook page She wrote, “Honored to receive the doctorate from CIAC (Confederation of International Accreditation Commission). Thank you all for your blessings I will strive to do justice to this honor in every possible way”

Tamannah made her debut in a Tamil film titled Kedi in 2006. The actress has shared the screen with Tamil Super Stars Vijay and Ajith. She has worked with many leading Telugu actors like Prabhas and Allu Arjun.  The actress is also popular in Bollywood films having appeared in films like Himmatwala with Ajay Devgan. The actress is currently working on her project ‘Sketch’ with actor Chiyaan Vikram.
