Kolkata, July 4: Gorkhaland issue now seems a long-lasting unsolved problem of West Bengal. The government and Gorkha Janmukti Morcha both are playing the game of increasing pressure on each other. GJM supporters burnt down important documents of GTA, started setting fire in important administration offices. But on last Monday, going one step further Morcha used children in their protest march from Singmari to Chawkbajar. Repetition of the same incident twice in a week has resulted into a show cause notice by the West Bengal Commission for Protection of Child Rights (WBCPCR).

On Monday, Morcha organized a protest March where children of 6-7 years to 16-17 years teenagers were present. On last Thursday, bare bodied children were walking in a march from Chakbazar to Darjeeling station. This incident pissed off West Bengal Commission for Protection of Child Rights and they sent a show cause notice but instead of replying, Morcha made a recap of this. Hence walking on a strict road, Commission summoned Bimal Gurung.

"The GJM does not have any regard for the law of the land, the judiciary and directives of the courts. They have violated a Calcutta high court directive stating that children cannot take part in political activities even on holidays." , the Tourism Minister Goutam Deb said.

The General Secretary of Morcha defended them by saying that the children voluntarily participated in the protest. The supportive emotion for Gorkhaland has worked for them.

Now by 11th July without any failure, Gurung needs to be present in front of the commission. Strict legal actions will be taken against him if he remains absent on the day.
