Mumbai, July 6: As 53% Maharashtra is drought prone, irrigation work through Jal Yukt Shivar is in full swing. Similarly, the digital connectivity work is going on for connecting with all Gram Panchayats. Maha Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was giving the details of his government’s ongoing initiatives while emphasising on a business-friendly environment being created in Maharashtra. He told that with Nagpur-Mumbai Maharashtra Samruddhi Corridor, the govt is ensuring development in 25 districts and better connectivity to ports.
Speaking at the 4th State Bank of India (SBI) Banking and Economics Conclave on Wednesday in Mumbai, CM noted, “With Nagpur-Mumbai Maharashtra Samruddhi Corridor, we are ensuring development in 25 districts and better connectivity to ports”. “We are also developing 22 smart cities based on agriculture facilities and allied activities on this Maharashtra Samruddhi Corridor”, he added.
Fadnavis informed about establishment of Maharashtra Industry, Trade and Investment Facilitation Cell network with many services and said that the permissions are delivered speedily.
Chief Minister also spoke on how infra work is in full swing and his Government is working for all sections of the society.
The SBI Banking and Economics Conclave was arranged with the theme “Pathfinders: A Discovery of Ways to New India”. The conclave was arranged at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Mumbai.
