Punjab police along with Madhya Pradesh ATS busts ISI backed Khalistani terror module; 4 arrested

Gwalior, August 10: The Madhya Pradesh ATS along with Punjab police getting is on the mission to destroy the nexus of ISI and the Khalistan Liberation Force terror outfit. Getting a major success in it, Madhya Pradesh ATS and Punjab police busted a module of ISI and the Khalistan Liberation Force terror outfit and arrested three terrorists who were camping in MP for over 4 days.

 

Notably, Punjab police and Madhya Pradesh ATS jointly carried an operation and busted a module of ISI and the Khalistan Liberation Force terror outfit after arresting 4 suspects who were residing in Gwalior since four days. Balvinder Gill, Balkar Singh and Sathyendra Rawat were arrested following specific inputs about their activities.

All the four were arrested from different areas of Dabra, Chinor and Dulpara in Gwalior. The ATS said that two of them were part of the Khalistan Liberation Force. The leads regarding this module were given by Gurdial Singh, Jagroop Singh and Satwinder Singh who were arrested last June by the Punjab police.

However, the first lead came up when the BSF had intercepted a consignment of arms and ammunition from near the International Border in Amritsar. It found to be supplied by the ISYF. Two terrorists, Maan Singh and Sher Singh, were arrested by the BSF on May 21 as they were trying to pick the weapons.

On May 30, police had also claimed to have arrested four youths, including a woman, and busted a terror module that was planning to indulge in violence and targeted killings under the banner of ‘Khalistan Zindabad’ to fan communal violence in the State. Importantly, Congress leaders Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar, as well as those responsible for incidents of sacrilege/desecration were alleged to be on the radar of the highly radicalized youth, police claimed.
