New Delhi, August 12: A major change is taking place in Bihar political scenario. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar left grand alliance due to several corruption charges against Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son Tejashwi Yadav who was former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar. After leaving alliance he again formed the government with NDA support. Sharad Yadav, the senior party leader has been vocal against this decision.
Party President Nitish Kumar has made RCP Singh the s new leader of the party in the Upper House.The party has written a letter to the chairman of the Rajya Sabha in this regard. Another JD(U) leader Ali Anwar Ansari was suspended due to anti-party activities.
On Friday Nitish Kumar met BJP Chief Amit Shah where BJP Chief invited him to join NDA. On Saturday, JD (U) has removed rebel leader Sharad Yadav as party leader in Rajya Sabha. JD (U) may announce its decision on August 19 following its national executive meeting.
