Jana Sena will stay neutral in Nandyal by-election: Party Chief Pawan Kalyan

Vijayawada, Aug 17: Ahead of the crucial and prestigious Nandyal by-election, Jana Sena Party Supremo Pawan Kalyan officially announced that his party would not extend its support to any political party. Citing the reason of organizational restructuring down the line, the power star reiterated that his party will not go into polls till 2019. The actor turned politician also stated that his party will stay away from the upcoming Kakinada Municipal Corporation election.

Informing about the developments through his party’s official YouTube channel, the actor said, “We are still at the building stage as a political party. Although we have support from the public. We took feedback from the public, party activists, and supporters and chose to remain neutral”

 

 The official announcement comes after BJP announced its support to the ruling party TDP in Nandyal poll and also to contest jointly in Kakinada polls. For the first time after the debacle of 2014 election congress party has also fielded its candidate. The main fight is between ruling TDP and YSR Congress of Jagan Mohan Reddy. The by-election will be held for Nandyal constituency in Andhra’s Kurnool district on 23 August.
