BJP Chief Amit Shah arrives in Bhopal, kick-starts mission 2018

Bhopal, Aug 18: As the party of BJP’s 110-day mega outreach program Party supremo Amit Shah today arrived at Bhopal for his three-day long visit. On his arrival, Shah was accorded a warm welcome by the Chief Minister and other senior party leaders at Raja Bhoj Airport. On this occasion, the BJP president unveiled the statue veteran leader Deendayal Upadhyaya.

 

 
 
On the first day of his three-day visit, Shah addressed party leaders, including MPs, MLAs, district presidents State unit office-bearers, central office-bearers. He is scheduled to address the meeting of intellectuals and meritorious students. Along with this, Shah will mark his presence at the book release ceremony. The book is penned by Kailash Narayan Sarang. In order to fine tune, the state unit before the assembly elections of 2018 Shah will interact with ministers of state government and state BJP leaders in order to have better coordination ahead of the crucial assembly polls.

 

Kick-starting the mega campaign for 2019 Lok Sabha elections Shah, yesterday Chaired a high-level meeting which was attended by eight Union Ministers and senior party leaders in the national capital. According to media reports in a closed-door meeting, Shah asked party officials to focus on new 150 seats in order to achieve the goal of 350-plus seats in 2019 general elections.

A presentation was made, incorporating feedback and suggestions from state units to strengthen the party. The core members of the Mission 350-plus also reviewed the inputs gathered during Shah’s tour of states. Shah urged all core team members to focus on states like West Bengal, Assam, Odisha, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala to improve the tally of the party. As reported by Indian express several senior ministers have been assigned the task to look after these states ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
