New Delhi, August 18: Chinese aggression in Doklam, plateau lying in the tri-junction region of Bhutan, China and India is hampering inter-regional peace. India is patiently trying to solve the issue. Japan, another nation which is also facing the issue of Chinese aggression in the South China Sea supports India’s stand on the Doklam issue. Japanese ambassador Kenji Hiramatsu has expressed support for India in the Doklam stand-off.
Hiramatsu is also ambassador to Bhutan. Hence the area is disputed forceful aggression cannot solve the issue, India always advised. In line with that suggestion, the Japanese ambassador said that “all parties involved should not resort to unilateral attempts to change the status quo by force”.
Japan could easily understand India’s problem as it is facing the same problem in the South China Sea over territorial issues. China’s game plan is not new to Japan. It also proves japan is monitoring the situation. The peaceful approach of India is more acceptable to world leaders as no one wants war.
