Telangana BJP to celebrate Hyderabad Liberation Day on September 17

Hyderabad, Aug 21: Taking a cue from the poll promise made by ruling party Telangana Rashtra Samithi, BJP leader Dr. K Laxman announced that the state unit has decided to celebrate the Hyderabad Liberation Day on September 17. Slamming Chief Minister KCR for misleading the people of Telangana, the BJP leader of BJP said, “During the Telangana movement, KCR repeatedly said his party would organize the Hyderabad Liberation Day. However, his government is against such proposal now.”

Elaborating about the mega event the official informed that on September 17 Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh would address the gathering. The state unit is also planning to invite several Central Ministers to grace the occasion.

According to media reports, Senior ministers Nitin Gadkari, Bandaru Dattatreya, Hans Raj Ahir, general secretaries Ram Madhav and P. Muralidhar Rao would tour the state, especially the places where people fought against the Nizam.

On September 26, BJP leader Ram Madhav will participate in the New India Mission which is to be held in Hyderabad. Party Supremo Amit Shah is also scheduled to visit the city from September 10 to 12 to take the stock of the party’s organizational preparedness.
