Gurugam, August 22: Blue whale challenge is a real threat for young students who are not mature enough to understand the risks of playing it. Haryana Children Protection Commission (HCPC) has issued an advisory to counsel students about the risk of 'Blue Whale Challenge' and other similar online games. The advisory has been issued to all private and government schools.

The dangerous game blue whale gives a series of tasks to gamers. After a period of 50 days, the final challenge is to commit suicide. The controversial game has taken away many fresh lives.

Hence the newly issued advisory directed the management of all schools to educate students from Class 5 to 12 to make them aware of the negative impact of Blue Whale.

Ramesh Yadav, a member of the HCPC told, “We have directed all Haryana government and public school’s management to spread awareness among all students and at Gururgram schools. The schools have also been asked to closely watch and conduct proper counseling in case abnormal behavior is seen in any student.”

He added, “We have directed schools to send a copy of advisory to parents with similar guidelines and instructions to keep a tab on the activities of students at home.”

In last week, the Ministry of Electronics and IT sent out a circular to Google India, Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Microsoft and Yahoo India to remove links of such dangerous games.
