Mumbai, August 26: Exploring the continent of Africa is never ending. The continent is enriched with natural resources, rich music, coffee but the most amazing attraction could be a different kind of tribes. In n era, when we cannot spend one single second without the internet, there are tribes in Africa which are extremely close to nature. Among these Maasai is a strange tribe which is averse to killing wild animals.

The Massai are an ethnic group inhabiting southern Kenya and northern Tanzania. This is one of the tribes which still adhere to old customs and tradition. Though Kenyan and Tanzanian government have tried to change their semi-nomadic lifestyle they did not.

Strangely, the tribe keeps cattle and livestock but never harms wild animals. They consider these wild animals clan members, and each clan is associated with a specific species which they often keep close to them and treat as a clan member.

Cattle are everything for a Massai community. Cattle provide almost everything they need for survival and much more besides. Cattle provide almost everything they need for survival and much more besides.

Though they don’t want to change but changing keeps the flow of this world. They lived several ages with wildlife without destroying it. But now with the changing time, this truth has changed. As they keep as many as cattle possible, the overgrazing causes environmental degradation.
