Darjeeling, August 28: The indication of a split within Gorkha Janmukti Morcha, the main agitator party in Gorkhaland movement got a new ground. According to local news reports, an audio clip was spread among local leaders where the Morcha chief accused the leaders of sending letters to the government without his consent. He alleged some people for conspiring against him.

"A few leaders are involved in a conspiracy hatched by the Bengal government.... They are conspiring against me and the community. I vehemently condemn it and the public must also remain guarded.... They are giving out my location to the police with the hope that cases against them will be revoked," Gurung is heard saying in the audio clip.

Gorkha Chief did not like the situation when some leaders are trying to coordinate with the government to bring back peace in the hill. Binay Tamang sent a letter to Mamata Government for joining the meeting scheduled on 29th August. Under the leadership of Tamang, a delegation of Morcha will join the meeting. After this audio clip has been circulated, now it is being assumed that Gurung is unhappy with the decision.

"The agenda has to be Gorkhaland. If talks take place on other issues, they will not be allowed to return to Darjeeling," Gurung said warning the leaders.
