Tokyo, August 29: After North Korea’s warning to sharpen its nuclear weapon again the country took an aggressive move. It fired a ballistic missile early Tuesday that flew over Japan's northernmost main island. Fearing more whimsical steps from North Korea, Japan’s Foreign Minister Taro Kono held the first meeting of the emergency response headquarters. He has told the danger to Japan has grown significantly stronger. Japan called on call on the United Nations Security Council to convene an emergency meeting.
Japan Prime Minister ensured safety to its citizens and said, “ Although the Japanese government had full awareness of the movement of the missile since immediately after its launch and we have made thoroughgoing preparations to ensure the safety of the Japanese people, the outrage of launching a missile to fly over Japan is a serious and grave threat that is unprecedented.”
As per some sources, responding to Japan’s request to call urgent UNSC meeting UNSC will meet today to discuss the latest North Korea missile launch. Several governments in the Asia-Pacific region including Australia, Indonesia, and the Philippines condemned Tuesday North Korea's ballistic missile launch.
The hostility in the region is also affecting regional business. -Asian shares were mostly lower on Tuesday. Fearing further action from North Korea; South Korea’s military has strengthened its monitoring and preparation.
