Vice President elect Venkaiah Naidu offers prayers at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam

Tirupati, Aug 1: Vice President Elect M Venkaiah Naidu today offered his prayers at famous Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. Speaking to the media after visiting the holy shrine Venaiah Naidu said that his visit to the temple was completely apolitical. “This is all happening because of the blessing of Lord Venkateshwara. I feel very inspired whenever I come here. Today onwards I am going to open a new chapter in my life.” Said Naidu. This is for the first time Naidu visited the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam after registering a resounding victory in recently held vice presidential election. Naidu will take the oath on August 11.

Expressing his gratitude towards all political parties Naidu stated that he will uphold the decorum and dignity of the institution. “It is all the love and affection of the people of India and affection of PM Narendra Modi and also the various party members,” Naidu added.

As reported by The Hindu, Naidu who arrived at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams was accorded a warm welcome and was honored with the sacred silk cloth and holy prasadams by the management of the shrine. On this occasion Rajya Sabha member C.M. Ramesh, BJP State spokesperson Bhanu Prakash Reddy and others officials of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam were present.
