BJP Supremo Amit Shah to visit Karnataka on Aug 12

Bengaluru, Aug 8: In order to improve the prospects of Bharatiya Janata Party in southern states, party supremo Amit Shah is all set for his three day Karnataka visit which will begin from 12 August. According to state BJP officials Shah will participate in various programs organized by the state unit. As a part of his mass outreach drive, Karnataka will be the 18th state the BJP where BJP chief will take the stock of party affairs for crucial assembly polls in the state. Karnataka will go to polls in 2018.

Speaking to the media BJP spokesperson and senior law maker S Suresh Kumar said that Shah will arrive at Kempegowda International Airport at 10.45 am where he will be accorded with a rousing welcome by BJP workers. As reported by Deccan Herald, the BJP chief will be attending around 25 meetings during his three-day long visit.

S Suresh Kumar further stated that Shah is scheduled to attend the series of meetings at the BJP office in Malleswaram which will be attended by state MPs, MLAs, organizational secretaries, district in-charge secretaries, district presidents and other party officials. Amit Shah is expected to hold separate meetings with the leaders of SC/ST and OBC community.

On August 13, BJP chief will visit the Adichunchanagiri Mutt at Nagamangala in Mandya district and later he will meet Spiritual Leader Sri Sri Ravishankar from the Art of Living Foundation on the outskirts of Bengaluru. On August 14, Shah is scheduled to hold a meeting with Vistaaraks. He will address the meeting of leaders of the party from 11 Parliamentary constituencies, who lost the2014 Lok Sabha election.
