Ahmedabad, September 14: Nation today came to still at the inauguration of ‘Bullet Train’, which envisions for ‘New India’. Defining the mutual ties and taking this relationship to new heights, India-Japan with this ‘Bullet Train’ project will help India emerge as superpower globally as this will lead to surge in economy.
Inauguration of ‘Bullet Train’ took place in Ahmedabad, in the presence of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with other Ministers like Ministry of Railways Piyush Goyal, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and other officials.
Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe took the stage and extended the warm support for Indians. Also Narendra Modi echoed the similar support saying that ‘Bullet Train’ will define ‘New India’. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also took the stage at the ground breaking ceremony of Bullet Train. Extending best wishes, CM Fadnavis said that it is a historic day today as we did not only lay the foundation stone for Bullet Train but for a NewIndia.
CM Fadnavis informed that this high speed Bullet Train between Mumbai & Ahmedabad will reduce travel time to3hrs from 7hrs connecting 12 stations of Maharashtra and Gujarat. I am confident that with this high speed Bullet Train project, GDP of both Maharashtra & Gujarat will increase. We are thankful to our closest friend Japan for financial support to Metro, MTHL project in Maharashtra by investing Rs.30,000 Cr.
