Andhra Pradesh Minister rejects Jagan Mohan Reddy’s claims on Polavaram

Amaravati, January 23: Launching a frontal attack on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Andhra Pradesh irrigation Minister Devineni Uma Maheshwara Rao said that those people who stalled the prestigious national projection of Polavaram should not comment on the credibility of Chandra Babu led TDP government.
Reacting to the recent jibe of Jagan Mohan Reddy on the progress of national irrigation project Polavaram, Devineni slammed YSR Congress President for blocking the Polavaram project just settle the political scores. The Minister further accused Jagan of encouraging litigations against the multipurpose irrigation project which ultimately resulted in the escalation of cost.
Devineni Uma Maheshwara Rao, who looks after the Water Resources and Irrigation department in Chandrababu cabinet reiterated that the project works will be completed by 2019. He also expressed satisfaction over the appointment of new contract agency Navayuga.
