For giving healthy atmosphere to old people, 'Bapu Ki Kutiya' inaugurated in this state

Raipur, January 28: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh said that it is the duty of the State, society and the family to provide health-security to senior citizens. He was speaking after dedicating the first 'Bapu Ki Kutiya' on the Raipur Collectorate premises on Saturday. 

On this occasion, Raman Singh revealed that under the Chief Minister Health Insurance Project Rs 80 thousand worth medical treatment will be provided to the senior citizens soon.

'Bapu Ki Kutiya' is a great step in providing a congenial atmosphere to senior citizens. Hundred Kutiyas will be built in the capital parks. NGOs and social service organizations will operate the Bapu Ki Kutiyas.

The Chief Minister also dedicated 100 open air gyms. He also dedicated Naveen Thana Bhawan New Rajendra Nagar.

It may be recalled 'Bapu Ki Kutiya' project is meant to provide congenial and healthy atmosphere to senior citizens. The Kutiya is well furnished with table, chairs, cooler, TV and radio. Chess boards, carrom boards are provided for the entertainment of older citizens. Newspapers and books are also provided.
