The crucial meeting will be held before the two-month-long annual 'Mandala Makkaravillakku' season which will start from November 17. On Monday, the Supreme Court quashed the plea demanding a stay on Sabarimala ruling which permitted the entry of all female devotes between the age of 10 and 50 years, into the holy shrine of Lord Aiyappa.
The apex court verdict had triggered the state-wide protest where near about 3,505 protesters have been arrested and around 529 cases were registered.
In its recent submission state government mentioned that it never interfered into the matter of religious practices and rituals associated with Sabarimala. It further slammed political outfits for politicizing the sensitive issue of Sabarimala shrine.
