Nagpur, Nov 22: Clearing the desk for Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s 'Hunkar Sabha' which is slated for November 25, Nagpur bench of the Bombay High Court today quashed the plea filed by the Social activist Janardhan Moon. While hearing the matter, the High Court denied the appeal demanding a stay for the public event.

In order to galvanize the support for Ram Temple at Ayodhya, Vishwa Hindu Parishad in association with several religious and social outfits has planned mega rallies at Nagpur, Bengaluru, and Ayodhya.

Religious leaders like Sadhvi Rutumbhara, Jyotish Peeth Shankaracharya Vasudevnand Maharaj, Shrinath Peethadhishwar of Deonath Peeth Jitendranath Maharaj will grace the much anticipated ‘Hunkar rally’ at Nagpur’s Ishwar Deshmukh Physical Education College ground.

Earlier, Janardhan Moon, a Nagpur based activist objecting the ‘Hunkar Sabha’ had moved to the Nagpur bench of Bombay high court. As quoted by Times of India, Moon argued that as the matter is with SC, holding public meeting would violate the fundamental rights of citizens of other communities as enshrined under Articles 21 and 25 of the Constitution of India.
