Ladakh, November 8: Enlightening each house by keeping the citizens of the country safe, our brave hearts celebrate the festive of lights in chilled weather at 18 ft in Ladakh. The courage and audacious aura spread by these jawans create a positive vibe of festivity. Enabling strength, they have secured dreams of 125 crore Indians.
Sharing an image, wishing all the people of India, a happy and safe Diwali; the Himveers of ITBP light a candle of safety, security and a promise of keeping the motherland away from all the enemies. Sacrificing their own, these veer jawans have lightened house of numerous Indians and we can’t thank them as much as they do for us. Their bravery and sacrifice are the result of our country being safe and sound. The jawans, through their commitment and discipline, are also helping to spread the sense of security and fearlessness among the people.
Celebrating Diwali with the brave hearts in Kedarnath, PM Modi highlighted the numerous steps being taken by the government for the strengthening of the defense sector, the welfare of ex-servicemen. He said India is taking great strides forward in the defense sector. He spoke of various measures being taken for the welfare of ex-servicemen, including OROP (One Rank, One Pension).
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also emphasized on how Indian forces are admired globally for their skills. He said that the Indian Armed Forces draw admiration and appreciation across the world, in UN peacekeeping operations. The Prime Minister offered sweets to the jawans.
