Addressing the media here, Rao stated that massive victory of Telangana will pave the way for non-congress and non-BJP regime. On this occasion, KCR thanked people for ensuring the second regime of Telangana Rashtra Samithi.
Taking a dig at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, Rao stated that Telangana Rashtra Samithi as a return gift will work for Naidu’s ouster in Andhra Pradesh.
Commenting on the performance of ruling TRS, Rao assured that his government will clear the pending development project for the welfare of the people. He further added that vital issues such as Healthcare, education, irrigation, and employment generation will be dealt with utmost priority.
Launching a frontal attack on national parties, Rao expressed the need for a new economic and agriculture model. He urged political class to shun stereotypical poll gimmicks. He hoped that Telangana Rashtra Samithi will bring the much needed political makeover in Indian polity.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, Telangana Rashtra Samithi bagged 88 seats out of the 119-member assembly.
Congress and Telugu Desam Party had to contain with 21 seats whereas the Bharatiya Janata Party ended up with a single seat. AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s party got 7 segments.
