Ranchi, December 15: Jharkhand is on the mode to increase the population of Indian breed of cows in the state. For this, instructions to start 3000 centers being prepared to develop Desi breeds of cows are given.
Simultaneously, the authorities have been asked to strictly follow the guidelines set out to prevent the smuggling of cows. In a meeting with the Animal Board of India in the Jharkhand Ministry, the Chief Minister said that all the Gaushalas should be registered and they should provide government facilities. The Chief Minister also instructed to build Kanji House for the cows roaming around the streets. He said that transit land is also continuously decreasing. Mark the transit land, where Kanji House can be made.
The Chief Minister said that the responsibilities of veterinary doctors are being decided. Every Panchayat will have to go to the veterinary doctor two days a week. They will get the diary, in which the information of the animals they have been given and the signature of the farmer will also be signed. Apart from this, the Chief Minister instructed to make animal hostels in the state, where there is a facility to build cow.
In the meeting, Agriculture Secretary Puji Singhal said that on the instructions of the Chief Minister, hostels for 200 animals are being started in Hazaribagh, Lohardaga, and Deoghar. Along with this, animal hostels are being made in Ranchi and Dumka.
