Taking a dig at M.K. Stalin’s open endorsement of Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s leadership, the BJP leader said that Stalin’s proposal has already paved the way for internal suffocations among the members of the alleged united front. He also dubbed Mahagathbandhan as “Tamasha” venture. When asked about the possible tie-up with ruling AIADMK, Madhav stated that his party is ready to team up with pro-development outfits.
“Rahul Gandhi and Stalin will have to wait for another 10 years as the post of Prime Minister is not vacant,” said Madhav. On Sunday, during former Chief Minister Karunanidhi’s statue unveiling ceremony, Stalin appealed opposition parties to back Rahul Gandhi’s candidature for PM’s post in upcoming 2019 general elections.
