Jharkhand: Supplementary budget of Rs 1117 crore during the winter session tabled

Ranchi, December 25: The winter session of the assembly started on Monday. In the very first day, the opposition demonstrated the matter of mercenary teachers outside of the first house and later made noise in the house. Between the same noises, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Minister cum in-charge Finance Minister Nilkant Singh Munda presented a supplementary budget of 1117.12 crores in the House. This is the second supplementary budget for the current financial year by the government. The opposition will offer a cut on this. After that the discussion will be done and the budget will be passed.


 

During the session, the Opposition and the ruling party were against each other face-to-face on many issues. In such a small four-day session, there will be a whole ruckus. However this session will be three business days only.

On the first day of the winter session, copies of Ordinances by the Governor were placed on the table of the House. Apart from this, the statement of second supplementary budget for the year 2018-19 will be presented.

On December 26, the question hour, debate on the second supplementary budget and other state legislations will be presented. Similarly, on 27th December, question hour, state work and non-governmental resolution will be sent.
