Chandra Babu Naidu stalling development projects: Former AP Minister P Manikyala Rao

Amaravati, Dec 26: Blaming Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu for not doing enough for the development of Andhra Pradesh, senior BJP leader, and former Minister P Manikyala Rao Tuesday tendered his resignation from the post of MLA. As a mark of protest, the former Cabinet Minister sent his resignation letter Naidu.

Speaking to the media, the Tadepalligudem lawmaker said that after snapping ties with BJP, the Chief Minister even after several request and remainders did little to address the issues faced by the people. The senior BJP leader threatened to go on an indefinite fast is demands remains unaddressed within 15 days.

In TDP-BJP government, Manikyala Rao who hails from West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh was Endowments minister in Naidu’s cabinet. In March after TDP’s exit from NDA, he stepped down from the post.

On the other hand, responding to developments, Naidu took a dig at P Manikyala Rao and asked him to stage a protest in Delhi instead of Amaravati. Refuting Rao’s allegations, the TDP National President termed it as politically motivated move to garner the sympathy of Voters.
