Former Maha Minister Eknath Khadse denies reports of quitting BJP

Mumbai, Dec 28: Rubbishing the reports of quitting BJP, senior leader and former Maharashtra Minister Eknath Khadse said that he was not at all unhappy with the party leadership and will stay with BJP. The senior leader clarified that his statement during a Bhusawal meeting was miss-interpreted by the media.

“If I am unhappy with something, will not hesitate to share my view the state leadership” Khadase mentioned. Eknath Khadse is a political heavyweight from Jalgaon region of North Maharashtra.

In 2016, the former Revenue Minister had to step down from the post over the allegations of financial misappropriation and controversial land deal in state-owned Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation Pune.

AAP leader Anjali Damnia had filed a plea in the Aurangabad  High Court and accused Khadse of massive corruption and also leveled the charges for misusing the office of Revenue Ministry.
