Jaipur, March 21: Creating jobs is one of the main aspects of any of the government in the country. Notably, in a bid to curb unemployment from the state, Rajasthan government has decided to release one lakh eight thousand jobs in various departments by next month. 

Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister of Rajasthan Rajendra Rathore on Tuesday evening during a press briefing said that the state government will release notification for one lakh eight thousand government jobs in various departments by next month.

He also said that the notification of 108 types of jobs will be released by April end and recruitment process will be completed by July. Informing other decisions taken during the cabinet meeting, the Minister said that the transgender welfare board will be set up which will frame policies for the third gender to ensure equality.

“The transgender welfare board will be headed by the minister of Social Justice and Empowerment department along with 15 government and six non-government officials,” Minister Rajendra Rathore added. However, collectors will head a committee at district levels.

The Rajasthan cabinet also approved five percent reservation to ex-army personnel in Group-A and B of government services apart from age limit relaxation. Rathore, in the end, said that the cabinet decided to name the Jhalawar airstrip as Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay airstrip.
