New Delhi, March 5: Commenting on Bhartiya Janata Party’s victory Ravi Shankar Prasad said that “BJP victory in Tripura is a tectonic shift in the politics of India.” Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad also took a dig at Congress for playing foul and misleading politics calling it as ‘anti-reform’.
He also said that the banking system derailed under the former PM Manmohan Singh. Under the so called economist Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the entire banking system went haywire due to all kinds of interference with it. There is no single NPA in Modi government; Congress has blamed the entire banking sector of the country, he added.
The correct position of banks in the UPA Government has not been revealed, the single loan given in our government is not NPA, he informed.
Hitting out at Congress, he further said that many times the UPA did not allow correct data to be entered into bank records. Advances rose during UPA but were not recorded in the books. Congress has time and again misled the nation; their policies dented the banking system. It is condemnable that right from the day our government has come to power, the politics of confusion, and the politics of fear is the basis of Congress campaign against us, he added.
On 16th May 2014, an order was passed by the then Finance Minister to provide benefits to 7 private companies. Gitanjali was one of the 7 companies, informed Ravi Shankar Prasad.
Congress party has issues with technology since technology brings transparency, he teased Congress. Rather PM Modi’s government wants to connect every Indian to technology, the government has started a huge campaign to reach the benefit of government services directly to the public, but the Congress wants to create fear among the public by spreading confusion about technology, he said.
Further he questioned Chidambaram and Rahul Gandhi, tell us why the passage of the order on May 16, 2014, why 7 private companies were benefitted under the 80:20 scheme? What was the benefit to the Congress? Congress must answer who was lobbying for 80:20 cut for Geetanjali.
Rebuffed and rejected by the people, the Congress party has resorted to spreading lies and deceit. They have shamelessly spread rumours about FRDI Bill and Doklam, Ravi Shankar Prasad said.
Terming Congress as anti-reform, Ravi Shankar Prasad said that Congress opposes Aadhaar system because it brings transparency in the system. The Congress, who is badly immersed in the defense scams like Bofors, is now questioning over Rafale deal. Congress should stand united on national issues like Doklam but they are doing just the opposite, he added.
Another textbook case of corruption by Congress has recently come out of the closet when they themselves revealed a banking fraud in 2011 involving the son-in-law of Punjab CM Capt. Amrinder Singh, he informed.
Blaming the Congress, he further said that the UPA Government broke the economy of the country, wrecked the banking system with pressure and inducement.
He further reiterated saying that we will not leave a single corrupt whatever its post and stature maybe.
The Congress also spread the lies of the 13-digit mobile number on social media, while the fact is that the new 13 digit numbers are supposed to be made available for SIM-based machine-to-machine (M2M) communication. It does not have anything to do with its normal mobile number, he explained.
The talk of delusional 'third front' is not new. This phenomenon had started way back in 1989 and the country has seen the failures of such experiments many times since then. The polity of India has travelled much beyond the illusive 'third front', said Rvai Shankar Prasad. Let Congress party continue to spread lies, BJP will expose them; let Congress party spread fear, BJP will inspire people to become fearless, he concluded ferociously.
