New Delhi, March 6: India has an incredible potential to attract tourist and it has been doing its job quite considerably. Highlighting this, the Ministry of Tourism has launched the Incredible India 2.0 campaign, during the financial year 2017-18 to promote various destinations and tourism products of the country including spiritual, medical and wellness tourism in important and potential source markets overseas.
The Incredible India 2.0 campaign targets at a shift from basic promotions undertaken across the world to market specific promotional plans and content creation with thematic creative on different niche products including spiritual, medical and wellness tourism.
The Ministry, as part of its on-going activities, annually releases global print, electronic and online media campaigns in important and potential markets overseas, under the ‘Incredible India’ brand-line, to promote various tourism destinations and products of the country, including the cultural heritage.
The Ministry is taking up promotional activities through their website and Social Media accounts. Involving various schemes and activities have leveled up the plans to enhance tourism in the country
Focusing on specific promotional plans, with greater emphasis to be given to social media, the team has planned to entrust heritage sites to the public sector and private sector companies and individuals for the development of tourist amenities. .
