Yogi Adityanath to address marathon 35 meetings in Karnataka

Bengaluru, April 24: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is all set to address the marathon rallies for upcoming high-stake Karnataka election. During his six days- power-packed schedule, the star Pracharak will 35 rallies in different parts of the state. Considering the response to the earlier engagements of Yogi, the principal opposition party is keeping eye on the politically crucial Vokkaliga community. The community follows Nath sect and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath heads the apex body of Nath sect. Yogi’s poll campaign will begin from the first week of may.

Earlier, Karnataka Congress leader Dinesh Gundu Rao’s comment on Yogi had triggered the controversy where Vokkaliga outfits demanded the ouster of the KPCC working president. Terming Rao’s jibe as the insult of Vokkaliga community, the state religious body has asked election commission’s intervention on the issue of violation of model code of conduct. During a candlelight protest organized by the state Unit of Congress, Dinesh Gundu Rao slammed Yogi Adityanath over Unnao rape case and asked people to beat the Chief Minister with sandals. Later, anticipating the controversy, Rao took to Twitter and expressed regrets over his comments on Yogi.
