Third Year RSS Shiksha Varg begins at Nagpur

Nagpur, May 14: Sangh Shiksha Varg (SSV) as they call it in RSS parlance, has begun in Nagpur from Monday. Nagpur being the birthplace of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), every year the third year SSV is held at Nagpur where the swayamsevaks who had completed the earlier two year training at their respective places and provinces, are eligible to participate. They come from all parts of the country – from the Jammu & Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Rajashtan-Gujarat to the North-eastern states and stay here braving the scorching sun and warm sweating nights to complete the training.

The Third Year SSV or ‘Tritiya Varsh Sangh Shiksha Varg is considered to be an important milestone in the life of a swayamsevak. Underlining this fact, RSS Sah-Sarkaryawah Dattatreya Hosabale said while inaugurating the SSV that though this is not like a university degree or a certificate, it is nevertheless a training that shapes and moulds the life of a swayamsevak.

The Third Year SSV was formally inaugurated at Dr Hedgewar Smriti Mandir premises on Monday. Over 700 swayasmevaks drawn from all parts of the country are participating in the 25-day SSV.

Addressing the participants Hosabale said that it is a dream of every swayamsevak worth his salt to participate in this training camp held at the place known as ‘Gangotri of Sangh’. It is here the founder of RSS Dr K B Hedgewar, his successor Sri Golwalkar Guruji had worked with thousands of swayamsevkas adding a divine flavour to this place.

The participating swayamsevks get a truly nationalist perspective in this camp by living and sharing with the fellow swayamsevkas from across the nation, he added.


 

Sah-Sarkaryawah Mukunda, who is the Guardian Adhikari of this camp, said that there are various types of organisations in the society. Some of them are based on money while some are publicity oriented. RSS is the cadre based organisaiton. “Our base is our Karyakarya. The Sangh is continuous process of man making and those who are involved in this process area learning it continuously”, he added.

Exhorting the participating swayamsevaks, he said that there are many aspects of RSS that can be learnt in these 25 days but more important is the experience that we will be getting in next 25 days. This experience will be an intangible investment’ of our lifem he said adding that SSV is like an ocean and it is up to the individual’s capacity how much he could pick up to fill his vessel from this ocean.

Senior Sangh functionary and Sah-Sarkaryawah V Bhagayya welcomed the participants. Adv. Sardar Gajendra Singh, Prant Sanghchalak of Uttarakhand is the “Sarvadhikari” of the SSV while Shyam Manohar, Prant Karyawah of Jodhpur is the Karyawah of the camp. Akhilesh, Sah Sharirik Pramukh of Awadh Prant is the Mukhya Shikshak of the SSV.

The participants will be addressed by top Sangh Adhikaris including Sarasanghchalak Dr Mohanrao Bhagwat, and Sarkaryawah Suresh alias Bhayyaji Joshi on various issues related to Sangh working style. The 25-day camp will conclude on June 7, 2018.
