Karnataka in-charge Prakash Javdekar denies charges of horse trading

Bengaluru, May 16: Refuting the charges of horse-trading levelled by JD(S) leader Kumaraswamy Union Minister and Karnataka In-charge Prakash Javdekar said that allegations levelled by JDS leaders are baseless. Speaking to the media over the current political situation, Javdekar claimed that BJP has enough backing to claim the government.

Responding to the reports of 100 crore offer by BJP leaders, Javdekar termed it as imaginary and unsubstantial. He further added that BJP under the leadership of BS Yeddyurappa will form the government. Taking a dig at Congress-JDS leadership, the Minister stated members of respective parties are not happy with the Congress-JDS post-poll understanding. The leader pointed out that BJP is not indulging in any practice of Poaching and horse trading and termed it as the culture nurtured by Congress.

Earlier, JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy in a media interaction accused BJP of Poaching newly elected JD(S) lawmakers to shift localities. Coining the term 'Operation Kamal' where BJP is allegedly in contact with several leaders from JD(S), the former Chief Minister threated that the regional outfit will poach BJP MLAs if attempts are made to influence the JD(S) members.
