Amaravati, May 25: Responding to the allegations levelled by the opposition over the presence of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu’s presence during the swearing-in ceremony of H. D Kumaraswamy, Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said that parties like YSRCP and BJP are unnecessarily blowing the issue out of proportion.

Explaining TDP’s stand, the senior minister pointed out that Chandra Babu had no political discussions with Congress President Rahul Gandhi. Earlier, both opposition parties launched a broadside on the Andhra Pradesh chief Minister for sharing the dais with Mr. Gandhi. They even accused Babu of holding backchannel talks with Congress party, underlining the association of Naidu with Congress before joining Telugu Desam party.

Yanamala admitted that the TDP National President had one to one interaction with all regional Satraps present during the swearing-in ceremony in Bengaluru. The Minister maintained that objections raised by the opposition are unsubstantial and hollow as Naidu attended the grand ceremony on the invitation of JD(S).
