Expressing gratitude, PM Modi says “For us, it is always India First”, to mark 4th anniversary of successful BJP government

New Delhi, May 26: “For us, it is always India First,” emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi as BJP-led NDA government at Centre completed four years in office. PM Modi continued saying that “with the best intent and complete integrity, we have taken futuristic and people-friendly decisions that are laying the foundations of a New India. #SaafNiyatSahiVikas.” 

Today was the day when in 2014 Narendra Modi was sworn-in as the Prime Minister following BJP's massive victory in the Lok Sabha elections.

  

PM Modi recalled saying “On this day in 2014, we began our journey of working towards India’s transformation.” “Over the last four years, development has become a vibrant mass movement, with every citizen feeling involved in India's growth trajectory. 125 Crores Indians are taking India to great heights!” he added.

 

Expressing gratitude further PM Modi said that “I bow to my fellow citizens for their unwavering faith in our Government. This support and affection is the biggest source of motivation and strength for the entire Government. We will continue to serve the people of India with the same vigour and dedication.”

BJP Prez Amit Shah is also set to address a press conference in New Delhi today to highlight the achievements and welfare measures taken by the NDA regime.

 

Addressing media on Friday, Amit Shah said, the welfare schemes of Modi government in the last four years have benefitted 22 Crore poor families and set an example of how a pro-people dispensation is run. He said, the current dispensation has taken the country's self-pride to the highest level.

Also to mark the celebrations, PM Modi set to head to Odisha. He will address a public meeting at Bali Jatra Ground on the bank of river Mahanadi in Cuttack in the afternoon.
