Chennai, July 23: Versatile actor Kamal Haasan who is gearing up for the grand release of Vishwaroopam 2, has confirmed the developments about his upcoming project Indian 2 with the maverick director Shankar.

The Ulaganayagan will join the sets of Indian 2 in September after the completion of Bigg Boss 2. The ace actor who is hosting the television reality show made an official announcement about his much-awaited outing with Shankar.

If media reports are anything to go by, young composer Anirudh Ravichander is on board for music department whereas makers of Indian 2 are keen on bringing actress Nayantara and Ajay Devgn for the sequel of the award-winning flick.

The Project will be bankrolled by Lyca Production.

Currently, Kamal Haasan is busy in promotional activities of Vishwaroopam 2, whereas director Shankar is working on Rajanikanth-Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0, the most anticipated movie of the year.

 2.0 will hit the screens on November 29.

Vishwaroopam series is a brainchild of Kamal Haasan where he plays the character of RAW agent Wisam Ahmed Kashmiri. Written and directed by the ace actor, Vishwaroopam 2 will hit the screen on August 10.
