New Delhi, Aug 14: Indresh Kumar, Patron and guide of Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) participated in the Tiranga March organised by women members of MRM at Delhi on August 11.

The Muslim Mahila Tiranga March started from Fatehpuri Shahi Masjid and culminated at Lal Quila. Muslim women in large number participated in this march carrying and waving national tricolour and took a pledge to maintain peace, unity and integrity.

Addressing the participants, Indresh Kumar said that we need to become 'true' followers and not radicals or fundamentalists. To love one's nation is considered as half 'imaan' in Islam. It is our bounden duty to work for spreading peace, brotherhood, safeguard our motherland, and develop the society irrespective of the religious we follow, he added.

He appealed to the Muslims to remain true to their religion and duty towards nation and society. He exhorted them to follow the teachings of Quran that says follow your own religion, respect the religions of others and do not interfere in other religions. “True secularism teaches us to look at all religions with equal respect. This is the only way to achieve fraternity and sustainable peace,” he said.

He said that the common name for God is 'Uparwala' (उपरवाला) as followers of all religions of the world pray to Him with their hands raised towards the sky.

Indresh Kumar said that 'Uparwala' is for all and hence he is called 'Rab-Ul-Almeen' in Islam and not Rab Ul Musalmeen'.

He further said that 'Alla Hu Akabar' in Arabic language means 'God is Great' in English and 'Bhagwan or Ishwar Mahan Hain' in Hindi. Similarly, “Vande Mataram” in Sanskrit means ‘Salute to Motherland’ and ‘Madare wata zindabad’ in English and Urdu respectively.

Likewise 'La Ilaah Illilaah' in Arabic means ‘Sarvam Khalvidam Brahmam’ in Sanskrit and ‘Prabhu Savshaktiman hain, Sarvagya Hain aur vah ek hi hain’ in HIndi and in Urdu it is said ‘Khuda hi sab kuchh hain, khuda se hi sab kuchh hain’.

The Muslim Mahila Tiranga March was led by MRM Mahila Prakoshth national co-convener Shahnaz Afzal. Shahida Ansari, Adv Shaheen Ansari, Gajala Imram, Shahana Parveenm Manisha Salmani, Radhika Suleman, Sabina Mirza, MRM Delhi Convener Mohd Sabreen, National Co-Covener Khurshid Rajaka, Amir Ahmed, Abu Talib, National Convener of Youth Cell, Yasir Jilani, National Organizing Convener Girish Juyal, and many activists.
