Health condition of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee continues to be critical; Nation prays

New Delhi, August 16: Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's health condition continues to be critical. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in a press release said that 93-year old leader is on life support system for the last couple of days. He is also the oldest living former Indian Prime Minister.


 

Now the nation waits for the next formal medical bulletin to be released by the hospital authorities. Health Minister J P Nadda in his statement said that condition of Atal Bihari Vajpayee is still critical and next bulltin will be shortly released about his health.

Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu visited the AIIMS this morning to inquire about the health condition of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the AIIMS  twice in the span of 16 hours to inquire about the health of Vajpayee. Union Textiles Minister Smriti Irani and Railway Minister Piyush Goyal went to the hospital to know about the condition of the ailing leader.

Since the morning  there is a queue of ministers like External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution Ram Vilas Paswan visited AIIMS

Later in Wednesday night, several leaders and ministers including Commerce and Industries Minister Suresh Prabhu, Jitendra Singh, Minister of Science & Technology, Earth Sciences, Environment, Forests and Climate Change Harsh Vardhan and National Spokesperson of BJP, Shahnawaz Hussain visited the hospital.

Not only the BJP party people but the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi too visited the AIIMS for the health inquiry of Vajpayee

 

Vajpayee was admitted to the AIIMS in June this year for treatment because of lower respiratory tract infection and kidney issues and he was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection.
