Speaking to the media, Naidu said that the combination of Nandamuri Balakrishna and Kirsh Jagarlamudi has recreated the epic tale of the great NTR. He further added that the period drama has refreshed all the past memories of NTR and it will inspire generations.
“NTR was a man of principle and a true icon of Telugu community,” Babu said. Heaping praises on makers, the Chief Minister said, “with this cinema, the future generation will get to known about the Legendre personality, a true icon of Telugu community,”
Helmed by director Kirsh Jagarlamudi, NTR Kathanayakudu on January 9 opened up with critical acclaims. The first part narrates the cinematic journey of the legendary actor.
The second installment will shed light on NTR’s unprecedented political career as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The second part Mahanayakudu will release on February 7.
Nandamuri Balakrishna, son of NT Rama Rao has essayed the titular role and award-winning actress Vidya Balan is donning the role of Basavtarakam, first wife of legendary actor and former AP Chief Minister. Baahubali Star Rana Daggubati roped in for Chandra Babu Naidu’s part.
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s NBK films in association with Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram and Vishnu Vardhan Induri’s Vibri Media has bankrolled the epic drama. Celebrated Composer MM Keeravani scored music. NTR biopic series is based on the life of actor turned politician NT Rama Rao.
