Pune, January 16: “India has huge capacity and capability to counter any attack against by our cantankerous neighbour. It has proved its might in the past and also by the surgical strike. Therefore, Pakistan will be solely responsible for its worsened condition if it fails to mend ways. Hatred towards India is going to kill Pakistan any way”, said Indresh Kumar, senior RSS leader and Patron of Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) while addressing a press conference Tuesday at Poona Club in the educational capital.

MRM National Convener Virag Pachpore and Educational cell Convener Latif Magdum were present on the occasion.

He further said that we have been independent for 72 years now, and there is not even a single day when India and Pakistan had peaceful borders. “Today Pakistanis are fighting amongst themselves. Baluch, Sindhi, Pashtuns, Muhajirs, PoK Kashmiris, Gilgit, Baltistans are firing at each other. Why Pakistanis are anti-Pakistani and anti-Islamic is worth considering. If Pakistan continues to be the at war with India, either China will devour the nation under the pretext of helping it or it will disintigrate into small pieces itself. Pakistan therefore should convert the border aligning India to Public Police Border alike India has with its other neighbouring nations”, he added.

Elaborating the viewpoint the RSS leader cleared that the caste system was not the part of the societal policies unless man ushered and created those. He emphatically said that the untouchability is a cancer spreading in the society, where we should be free of it to the earliest.

Further stressing the Ram Janmabhoomi case, he said that there are three elements that are creating hurdles in the justice process. First is the Congress party. The party leaders participate in Ram Leela, inaugurate Ram Navami festival but files an affidavit in the Supreme Court denying the existence of Sri Rama. This is the double standard of the party.

Further, the Congress lawyers demanded that the case be heard after the 2019 general elections. It meant that they wanted to make this an election issue. If it is really serious about the solution, the Congress should withdraw its affidavit, Indresh Kumar demanded.

The second element is those communist, fundamentalist and religious fanatics, he said adding that the Muslim leaders had filed an affidavit in the court that in case no evidence of a mosque was found they would withdraw their claim.

When excavations were carried out under the leadership of K K Mohammad, archaeologist by a team of 100 persons, half of whom were Muslims and no evidences establishing existence of mosque were found, these leaders should have withdrawn their claim. They did not and now they are instigating the people, he said.

The third element was that of judiciary itself, he said adding that the Supreme Court had said that it would hear the case on a day-to-day basis and give decision at the earliest. They did not do that but delayed the hearing and thereby denied the justice.

Some judges of the Supreme Court hearing the case had even insulted the belief of the people by stating that this was not a priority issue for them. By saying this they have insulted the Supreme Court, the Constitution and the 125 crore Indian people, Indresh Kumar said.

The government should consider holding a debate on this issue in the parliament, he suggested so that it would make clear which party supported the issue and which weighs its votebank more than the Ramjanmasthan, he added.

“Thousands of Muslims had gathered at Jantar-Mantar in New Delhi on December 16, 2018, and ensured that they wanted Ram Mandir at the Ramjanmasthan. The five-line slogan they coined said, ‘Hindustani Musalmano ne thana he, Imam-e-hind Sri Ram ka Mandir vahi banana he’, Jhagda Sada ke kiye niptana hain, talim, tarakki wala Hindustan banana hain, Babar-Babari se nahi, Hind aur Hundsutan se hamaari pehchan hain.

Also as per the Islamic rules, a mosque shall never be named after an individual. The Babri masjid therefore is a great sin to the Islamic tenets and principles. The decision in favour of Ram Mandir will be an occasion for the entire country to celebrate, he added.

Extending greetings on the occasion of Makar Sankranti, Indresh Kumar gave a social message of unity and integration. “Pune witnessed the festivity attended by sea of people from four zones abide the celebrations of the same by RSS in nation. The festival marks celebration of joy and energy. The sweets distributed on the occasion usually are made up of jaggery and sesame seeds which cannot be separated once mixed. The society in India is multi religious, multi caste, linguistic and traditions which resides together and cannot be separated. These are not the differences the varieties. If we consider the differences heading, debates and arguments will lead, whereas if we consider the later, love, care and joy amongst will be nourished”, he said.
