Two day Gujarat visit of Prime Minister Modi begins from tomorrow

Gandhinagar, Oct 6: Ahead of the crucial Gujarat state assembly poll, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to dedicate the range of developmental projects for his home state. On October 7th, Modi will visit the Dwarkadheesh Temple in Jamnagar district where he will lay the Foundation Stones of a bridge between Okha and Beyt Dwarka. The 3.92 km-long cable bridge is being constructed with the whopping budget of Rs 962 crore.

PM Modi will lay the Foundation Stones for the much-awaited greenfield airport at Rajkot. He is also scheduled to kick-start several infrastructure projects which includes six-laning of Ahmedabad-Rajkot National Highway; and four-laning of Rajkot-Morbi State Highway.

After Rajkot Modi will head for Surendranagar district where he will inaugurate the fully automatic milk processing and packaging plant along with the drinking water distribution pipeline for Joravarnagar and Ratanpur area followed by the mammoth public rally. The Prime Minister will dedicate the newly constructed building of IIT Gandhinagar where he will unveil the scheme of Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan.

On October 8, for the first time after assuming the office of Prime Minister, Modi will visit his hometown Vadnagar to launch the Mission Indradhanush, the flagship healthcare programme of central government in order to achieve the goal of full immunization. He is also scheduled to visit the famous Hatkeshwar Temple.

 

On the same day, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for Bhadbhut Barrage, to be built over the Narmada River. Modi will flag off the Antyodaya Express between Udhna (Surat, Gujarat), and Jaynagar (Bihar). He will mark his presence at the inaugural ceremony various plants under Gujarat Narmada Fertilizer Corporation.
