Mumbai, December 14: Appreciating the balanced stand of CBFC chief Prasoon Joshi amidst the dramatic controversy of Deepika Padukone starrer epic drama Padmavati, veteran actress Kangana Ranaut expressed that new CBFC Chairmen would address all the issues regarding Padmavati. She was speaking at the panel discussion during the launch of Shobha De’s latest book ‘Seventy and To Hell With It’ on Wednesday.

As reported by The Indian Express, the national award winning actress opined that any other individual would have messed up the whole matter under the tremendous pressure from various sections of the society who were staging a protest against the Sanjay Lila Bhansali’s latest outing but the veteran lyrist did perform well. Kangana further pitched for a separate panel to look into the matter of Padmavati.
The ace actress who is currently busy in the shooting of her upcoming period drama Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, helmed by director Krish once against extended her support for the Padmavati lead actress Deepika and director Sanjay Lila Bhansali. She also narrated the incidence about why she opted out from the signature drive crafted by Shabana Azmi.
