New Delhi, December 20: In India now-a-days three things have become important while you get out of house; they are cash, mobile phone and your Aadhaar Card. Your Aadhaar is very important and must in many fields like sim-linking, gas subsidy, bank accounts etc. but do you know where and when you have given your Aadhaar number? If no then here is an online service through which you can trace your Aadhaar history.


There simple steps to follow to know your Aadhaar authentication. You can trace upto 50 records where you have given your Aadhaar number.

The online tool, called 'Aadhaar Authentication History', enables Aadhaar holders to view their authentication details and access their Aadhaar Authentication History (Notifications) data, according to the UIDAI website. Using the Aadhaar Authentication History tool, a user can access a variety of information such as method of authentication, transaction ID (created at the time of request) and error code or Aadhaar authentication failure code, among others, according to the UIDAI website.


 

Steps to follow are as follows

· Go to UIDAI's Aadhaar Authentication History page. Enter Your Aadhaar number and the Captcha

· Click ‘generate OTP’. You'll get a one-time password via SMS on your phone, enter this number into the field.

· You will now be able to see a detailed list of Aadhaar authentication requests for your ID. This list will tell you the date, time, and type of authentication request.

The purpose of Aadhaar Authentication is to provide a digital, online identity platform so that the identity of Aadhaar number holders can be validated instantly anytime, anywhere.
