New Delhi, December 28: Travelling in a crowded train is like a nightmare for people. And if it’s a festive season then definitely it is a task for some. But now you can drift yourself and enjoy your holidays by going in these special trains. In order to avoid crowded trains and delay in schedule the officials have opted to start festive trains.

Indians celebrate the Durga Puja, Dussehra, Diwali, Chhath etc so; the railways are introducing additional trains to facilitate holiday travelling. It has been planned that a range of facilities for the passengers during the festive season such as pandals at major stations, clean toilets etc. is made available. Easy access to platform and to avoid rush some important measures are taken. Further, the officials have been authorized to increase the charge of platform tickets or to stop the sale of platform tickets during the festivals in order to reduce the crowd at the platforms. Fully unreserved trains are also run to cater to unreserved traffic during the rush period. Extra security teams will be deployed at the stations to keep a check on the illegal agents and vendors.
Indian Railways started functioning special trains only in emergency condition like for clearance of unexpected extra rush to avoid any unfortunate incidents, to clear passenger affected due to derailment of trains, rescue of accident affected train passengers etc. Besides, all sincere efforts are made to achieve main income from every special train service.
Keeping in mind the smooth working and safety of the passengers the authorities have decided to start special trains. It is always seen that railway has taken proper implementation to provide trains due the wee hours. Provisions to provide trains to and fro for one way to have proper feasibility, availability of resources are also done thoroughly.
