On 1st day of his visit, Amit shah visited Swami Vivekananda’s house; rest of the day dedicated to organizational meetings

Kolkata, September 11: Indicating a possible shift in power in next elections BJP has emerged as the main opposition in Bengal politics. To make the organizational power more effective in the state keeping an eye on Amit Shah has arrived in Bengal for a three-day visit. This visit is a part of his nation-wide tour.


BJP President Shah reached Kolkata on Sunday and was welcomed by party members who are happy to see their leaders. On Monday morning, he visited Spiritual inspiration for Indian Youth Swami Vivekanda’s home. Huge Yuva crowd gathered outside the house of Vivekananda.

As per schedule, he is supposed to have two successive meetings with top leaders from the district and also with state level leaders. Then again in the evening, he will have two meetings. Hence the first day is clearly dedicated to reviewing the working of the party’s situation in Bengal.

 

“Our national party president will hold a series of meetings and prepare the roadmap in Bengal. The panchayat polls are scheduled to be held in the state next year and then there is the Lok Sabha election in 2019. Our senior leaders will submit a presentation with details of each seat. Our strength and weakness and that of other political parties will also be detailed,” said a BJP leader.
